when entering into the campus of Hualalai Academy you instantly know that this is a special school. It's more than the landscaping, buidling design and the fact that the school has been designated a wildlife habitat by the Wildlife Federation...it's about the students, parents, faculty, and staff. There is a genuine commitment to academic excellence and experiential learning, plus a wonderful sense of Aloha.

Hualalai Academy is a nice private school located in Kailua-Kona on Kealakaa Street. They have a full academic curriculum. Some of their exciting elective programs include Performing Arts, Coral Reef Study, Botball Robotics and Foreign Languages. This private school has a lot to offer that public schools do not offer. They serve grades Kindergarten through the 12th grade. This school has a good reputation in Kona and I would recommend this school to anyone thinking about sending their kids to private school in Kailua-Kona.
